    Leadership, Training and Team Building

  • Leadership Style: Servitude and Latitude. Whether tasking a team with solving a complex problem or meeting a critical deadline, willing to work shoulder-to-shoulder and lead by example. Believe professionals should be treated like professionals. The resulting reductions in OpEx, increases in operational efficiency and repeatability, and higher levels of talented employee retainment are all symptoms of a highly functioning teams.

  • Approach to the Team: Always put people first and cultivate relationships through coaching, mentoring, and listening. Builds trust so that all decisions will be best for the project, each individual, and the team as a whole.

  • Military Veteran: Teams mentality, via The United Stated Air Force.

  • 03

    Operations & Process Improvement

  • Assisted multibillion-dollar business units' transition to remote/automation operational models by creating customized technical training curriculums (e-Learning and classroom-based) that addressed specific issues and opportunities arising from changing operational models. Rolled out across entire H&P organization.

  • Continually optimized performance drilling practices and championed standardization. Presented to specialized departments, entire organizations and C-level leadership groups. Created and distributed technical documentation for reference.

  • Founding Team member that developed the industry’s first autonomous directional drilling platform: The MOTIVE Bit Guidance System.

  • Collaboratively developed the industry’s first autonomous spindle control system: AutoSlide℠.
